Since projects are determined closer to your actual tour date, here’s a glimpse at what your first day might look like:
- Help restore the beach by removing trash and debris
- Participate in a creative upcycling project with plastic water bottles

Depending on the day’s weather, here’s a glimpse at what your service learning day might look like:
- Transplant mangroves in coastal wetlands to help restore and support marine habitats and protect shorelines
- Assist in shrimp farm restoration with tasks like reshaping waterways and constructing natural barriers to protect plant growth
- Monitor seagrass beds by measuring growth, density, and marine biodiversity

Travel to Ko Lanta
Learn about the island and the elephant sanctuary where you’ll do your service work during orientation

Venture to this iconic, secluded beach that’s only accessible by boat. Relax on its serene shores and soak up the sun, the peaceful islands in the distance, and the beautiful limestone cliffs that surround you.
