History and Democracy in Belgium and the Netherlands
From June 19-27, explore the historical progress, regressions and eventual triumph of human rights as you travel from Brussels to Amsterdam. During your tour, you’ll visit the European Commission and learn how the EU actively promotes and defends human rights. You’ll also visit famous landmarks like the Anne Frank House, whose historic significance influenced human rights policies.
Summit Leadership Conference:
Join other teachers and students in The Hague for a two-day leadership conference, June 25-26. Hear from world-renowned keynote speakers, attend expert-led workshops, and gain valuable insight into the challenges surrounding human rights issues around the globe.
Using Design Thinking—a creative problem-solving technique used by companies like Apple and Google—international teams of students will create and present solutions to a human rights challenge.
