Bay of Islands dolphin-watching cruise
Set out on a four-hour catamaran cruise in the Bay of Islands. Grab a spot on one of the boat’s outdoor viewing decks and keep your eyes peeled for the dolphins and other marine animals that frequent these waters. During the trip, you’ll also visit the bay’s legendary “Hole in the Rock,” a narrow, arched passageway that Māori warriors used to paddle through in their canoes on their way out to battle.
