Italy and Greece practically own the early history of Western civilization, which becomes vividly clear as you gaze down upon the ruins of the Roman Forum and walk through the monumental structures of the Acropolis. In Vatican City, marvel at the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica and the breathtaking artistry of the Sistine Chapel. In Delphi, look deep into Greece’s mythical past.Due to national and/or religious holidays, some sites may be closed and your itinerary may be modified on the following dates in 2026: March 19, March 25, April 3-8, April 12, May 1, June 29, and August 14-15.
