International training tours

Experience a tour before you lead one. Earn 25 professional learning hours or points. Expand your network.

Feel confident leading your first tour

International training tours are specially designed for first-time Group Leaders and take place across the globe. Once you enroll eight travelers on your upcoming EF trip, your spot on a training tour is covered by us so you can learn from teachers with plenty of tour-leading experience and explore ways to align educational travel with your curriculum. We’ve even created International Multibus Training Tours, designed specifically for teachers leading large groups of 60+ travelers that require two or more buses for the first time—also at no cost. Whether you embark on an international tour or take part in our virtual training program, we’ll prepare you to facilitate experiential learning for your students out in the world.

Training tours that take you places

We offer a variety of training tours so you can find an option that best aligns with your student tour. Need help choosing the perfect itinerary? Reach out to your Tour Consultant for advice.

To be eligible for an international training tour, you must have at least eight paying travelers enrolled on your upcoming EF tour. View the full Terms and Conditions for more information.
