  1. A Fun Rush...

Overall the experience was absolutely amazing! As a teacher/chaperone it was incredible to see my students experience so many wonderful firsts. This was definitely something they will never forget and EF provided a fun and exciting adventure as promised.

Besides the amazing sites, the best part of the trip had to be our guides. I felt extremely confident in their abilities to lead us through these bustling European cities. Even when things seemed to be going a little off, the guides kept their cool and managed to keep everything on track and running smoothly (one even had a degree in Art History and was a walking encyclopedia of all things Parris and Italy). They provided context for everything we saw and even worked to keep the kids engaged on those long bus rides. The kids enjoyed them so much that many are still talking about them days later!

Every high school student in America should be required to travel abroad at some point in their education. Seeing how other's live in cities like Paris and Rome, worked to expand their worldview and see that people really aren't all that different! Additionally, seeing my students during these interactions/experiences deepened my appreciation for my students and the adults they are quickly becoming!

I can not recommend one of these tours enough!

  2. Awesome Trip

Overall the trip was really amazing! Extremely fast paced, I was unprepared for the amount of walking (around 19K steps the first day) but quickly adapted and found the sightseeing/supervision to be really 1st rate. We were allocated some free time nearly every day which we used for lunch and to see any sites that were not included on the tour. Our Tour Director was amazing in helping us with any questions we had during the duration of the Tour, and my students felt safe and secure for the duration of the trip. Included dinner meals were always 3- course, and while hotels varied in levels of comfort, they were always perfectly acceptable. The flight itinerary would be the only possible drawback, as my group was required to catch a few connecting flights through MN and Amsterdam before reaching/returning from Europe but my group was able to take those extra flights in stride. Overall I would definitely recommend to colleagues and friends!

  3. So Much Fun!

I had a great time being a part of my daughters trip to Europe with her High School French class! It was everything I had hoped for and then some! I would highly recommend going with EF tours for your first experience of visiting Europe! We had such a good tour director and the guides were all exceptional at the individual stops we made. The hotels were all above my expectations and were all clean and very accommodating. The breakfasts and dinners were geared more towards the teenage kids, but it is an "Education First" tour for youth so that is understandable. We adults got our taste of authentic Italian and French foods at lunch time. The whole trip was very enjoyable and I am so glad that we made the decision to go! Thank You EF Tours for giving me and my daughter the opportunity to tour Europe for the first time and learn so much while we were there!

  4. Taste of Europe

This tour was an awesome way to get a taste of Europe. You’ll get to see many of the famous attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Vatican City. Time spent at these attractions is limited, but you’ll leave with an idea of what you would want to see again and can return on your own at a later time. That’s exactly what I plan to do. Florence, Italy...here I come!!!

  7. Brilliant Experience

Our tour guide was exceptionally witty, extremely knowledgeable on history and the cities safe and not so safe areas. The areas that The guide took us showed the amazing buildings and monuments, but also allowed us to wander at our leisure. The tour was great, the walking long and trying at times, but it was fun seeing and being in the center of the city and interacting with the populous.

  8. Positive experience

I'd been to France and England 25 years ago and my 2 daughters wanted to experience Europe. I didn't want the stress of organizing a trip for them myself. EF tours took care of all of the details. The tour guide was funny, informative and caring. The school staff were very protective of the students. Our group totaled 43 so we spent more time waiting, gathering, etc. than I would have liked. Also the breakfasts and suppers weren't as interesting or diverse as I would have liked. We went a few places and did some things that weren't particularly interesting to me -- but I wasn't there for me -- I was there for the girls. And I think they got their money's worth of exposure to different people and cultures. Hopefully it was a mind-expanding experience and they will live fuller, more compassionate lives, grateful that they were born and raised in the USA. I especially appreciated that EF did not try to upsell or put pressure on us to buy additional services.

  9. A Trip I Will Always Remember

Honestly, this was such an amazing experience. I got to travel the world with my friends and get closer to them as well. I loved to get to walk around the cities and soak in the culture. The food was AMAZING and the scenery took my breath away everyday. Although we were exhausted half of the time because of the jet lag, we still made the most of our trip. I wouldn't want to spend spring break any other way.
