  1. Exceeding Expectations

Simply put, our trip exceeded all expectations I had in advance. I knew we were covering a lot of ground, but yet the pace did not seem rushed. When students were asked their favorite part of the tour, they had trouble choosing just one. The guided tours of each area we visited were high quality and we always had ample free time to explore on our own. Our TD's communicated so effectively with chaperones and students. How does EF find such high quality people? I'm also glad we added the extension. Pompei simply shouldn't be missed and Capri makes for a relaxing final day of the tour.

  2. experience of a lifetime

I sent my 14 yrs. old daughter on this trip with a small group of students and teachers from her school. They saw all the popular places in Italy and a few hidden gems. The tour was well organized and she loved the guides. They were knowledgeable and kid/teen friendly. The accommodations were comfortable (and safe) and of course the food was amazing! EF Tours did a great job organizing this event and so did the local team of teachers and chaperones.

  3. A Trip of a Lifetime

This was by far one of the best trips I have ever had. The minute we met our tour guide I knew we were going to have an unforgettable trip. Visiting each city was breathe taking, Venice, Florence, Assisi, and Rome were more than I could have imagined. Walking the streets, riding the Gondola, the food and the people of Italy was like nothing I had experience.

This trip was spiritual, educational and lots of fun. I had the opportunity to bond with my daughter and gain new friends as well. I would highly recommend an EF Tour to friends and family and I am looking forward to the next adventure on another EF tour in the very near future!

  4. Absolutely Wonderful

This was the best tour! The guide was fun, smart, informative and protective of the group. The itinerary was perfect, exhilarating!

Be aware, the hotels are not 5 star. The food at the hotels often left something to be desired. However, with all of the other wonderful experiences, these things were negligible. The hotels were clean and safe, so no major complaints.

My family is open to future tours with EF Tours.

  5. Experience of a Lifetime

Having experienced similar tours myself as a teenager, I can definitely state that this tour measured-up and beyond!
The itinerary hit all the top destinations for the country and did them all in great style.
We look forward to more trips with EF Tours.

  6. Fun experience

The entire EF tour to Italy was an amazing experience for my daughter. The food was wonderful and most of the hotels and the tour guide was fantastic!! The only thing I would change was a few of the hotels my daughter stayed at were not the best accommodations. They had clean sheets and the bathrooms were clean, but some areas of the hotel were very run down. The best place they all stayed was the last hotel in Rome for one night the Excel Clampino. One hotel I would not recommend staying in again was LaMeridienne in Rome. Other than some of the hotel accommodations the trip was a success and she will be traveling with EF Tours again in the near future on another school trip!

  7. Loved it!

Our guide was amazing!! She was smart, funny, witty! She provided so much information and in a way that the kids could stay interested and understand. I can’t say enough about how great she is! A true assist to EF for sure! The guides at each specific locations were good as well! My favorite places were Florence, Venice, Assisi, Sorento, and Capri. My only complaint is the dinners at the hotels. The meat and vegetables were like cafeteria food. We were hoping for more traditional Italian fare. Even the kids.
