Through our partnerships with Eastern Washington University’s International Field Studies Program, and the University of the Pacific, EF is able to offer group leaders and student travelers the opportunity to earn valuable academic credit while traveling on an EF tour. Earning academic credit enhances every part of the educational experience—before, during and after your EF tour. These courses are offered by accredited academic institutions. Credits are fully transferable and will be documented on an official transcript.
Eastern Washington University's Eisenhower Center was established to provide students and teachers who are participating in educational travel programs with the opportunity to increase their understanding and tolerance of foreign people and places, develop self confidence as world observers, and expand their appreciation of higher education as a vital partner in achieving future goals. Professional Development study tours. Pacific's Center for Professional & Continuing Education (CPCE) is committed to extending the learning opportunities of the campus beyond the traditional, residential environment. They have created a fluid system for educators to earn post-baccalaureate, graduate level, professional development units for those who take part in EF tour groups. The world is becoming increasingly interconnected. Become a better, more well-rounded teacher and prepare your students to think critically and creatively about diversity and global connections among world societies.
