ABOUT EF

For over 55 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to one global mission: Opening the World Through Education. Our programs help students expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, grow more confident and independent, and understand new people, places, and cultures.

9 days

The experience of a lifetime is waiting for you. Every detail from the cities you’ll stay in to the cultural discoveries you’ll make have been customized by your teacher for your group. Take a look at your personal itinerary for a sneak peek of what's in store.

  • Day 1: Fly to Ecuador

Meet your Tour Director at the airport
  • Day 2: Quito

Visit Yunguilla, a sustainable community devoted to raising organic agriculture and livestock. Together with your guide, you’ll:

    • Explore reforestation areas now protected by the community
    • Then, tour the Intiñan Solar Museum and witness the natural forces at work near the equator
  • Day 3: Quito • Amazon

Travel with your Field Director to the WE Village you’ll be working with, and learn about their unique Adopt a Village program model

  • Days 4-5: Service Project • Amazon

As communities evolve, so do their needs. That’s why we work closely with Free The Children to understand each community’s challenges. Since projects are determined closer to your actual tour date, here’s a glimpse at what a typical day might look like.
