My daughter just got back from a 10 day tour of France and Southern Spain. She had an absolutely amazing time! I wish I could give credit to the tour guide she had, because she said he really made the experience for them. Everything went smoothly, they learned a lot about the culture, and she has memories and pictures that will last a lifetime. I would highly recommend EF Tours to everyone. I'm so glad she was able to do this.

A lovely promenade!
I really enjoyed this tour! The activities were all interesting or at least served the purpose of transitioning students into new cities and to help them learn about each place's local culture. Some of the activities were much longer or more strenuous than the students and/or some chaperones were expecting or hoping, but in having swum, hiked, and walked quite a bit, I really enjoyed the experience and appreciate the attention to detail and the personalized touch from our tour guide.

an unforgettable trip!
I learned so much on this trip- culture, language, architecture, history, and much more! I appreciated the opportunity to see so many different locations in France, as opposed to just the capital city.

A great overview of southern French Culture. Loved the spectacular sceneries of the Basque and Provence regions. Truly thankful that we stayed two nights at each stop making the pacing of the tour a little easier.

I really enjoyed this trip, it was one of the best trips I have been on the tour guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable about all the questions we had and the places we visited were fantastic. The only problem I had with the entire trip was that the last day on the planes was very confusing when we missed our connecting flight

Experience in France, Spain & Italy
Tour was EXCELLENT: good sight seeing, interesting places, variation of days. Guides were knowledgeable and personable as well as interested in the group. Adequate free time.
Meals left something to be desired. In several places I did enjoy the local dishes that were very good. (Biarritz & Cinque Terre) For the most part the service was adequate. I was glad I did not specify a vegetarian meal because it was sub standard and I did better enjoying the meal and giving the meat to another traveler.
Accommodations were varied in amenities but were as expected. A private baths were very nice albeit small.
I enjoyed the extra trip to Versailles, and it was nice to have that opportunity ahead of time. This should be repeated for the Eiffel Tower.
Great Trip, I would take students again.

The tour was really amazing and our tour director was great. The places that we went and the places that we stayed were all really nice. All of the things we got to do and see on our trip were wonderful. We really saw a lot in a short amount of time and that was really great. There were several places that I wish we had more time at. The last place in Milan we stayed at was my favorite, it was by far the best hotel of the trip. The dinners however were not good at all. I was really looking forward to having good meals in the evening and they were all really pretty bad. The first night the rice and the chicken were not even cooked all the way so we could not even eat that meal. The places that we ate in Italy the meals were better and prepared well. I was overall very disappointed in the dinners. Most nights I had to go find other things to eat as the meals were not cooked all the way and so bland. Dinner was the biggest issue of the trip most nights my friends and I were just hungry and that was not fun.

Great way to see southern France
This is my first tour with EF and I participated as an adult chaperone. The tour was well-run and focused a lot on culture, which is a major benefit in my view. The two days in Paris are a great way to kick off the voyage, and the kids really enjoyed some of the activities we did in the free time in Paris.
The rest of the trip through southern France hits a lot of key areas (Pont du Gard, Avignon, Arles, etc.). The tour director provided valuable information on the historical context of many of the towns that we visited and took us to the key features in each. My only issue with the tour is that the time allotments are a bit askew. For example, we had limited time in Arles, a beautiful city with extensive Roman ruins, but had a bit too much time in Nice, which is mainly for shopping/beach going. Most of the travelers in my group felt that we spent too much time in certain spots and too little in others. However, the days were full and we saw quite a lot for only 7 days in southern France. I would definitely recommend the tour and thought it was an excellent value.
