Official contest rules and regulations
HOW TO ENTER:
No Purchase Necessary. All a contestant has to do is contact EF Educational Tours through one of the methods described in # 3 below for a chance to win one of FIVE EF Educational Tours programs, each for one group leader and up to six students. This prize includes all program, membership and departure fees. Not included in the prize are any optional excursions fees, insurance fees, money for gratuities or discretionary on-tour expenses. EF will select a winner each month from August through December 2009. Entries received in through August will be eligible for August-December’s drawings and so on.
ELIGIBILTY:
The contest is open to either full or part-time teachers or administrators at the middle school, junior high school, senior high school or college level living in the United States. Employees (and their immediate families and household members) of EF and its affiliates are not eligible.
GRAND PRIZE:
To enter, contestants should either call EF Educational Tours at 1-800-637-8222 and express interest in the contest, visit eftours.com or send in a postage-paid business reply card entry form. Required information includes the contestant's name, address and telephone. EF Educational Tours can be contacted at EF Educational Tours, One Education Street, Cambridge, MA 02141. Additionally, certain individuals that have previously contacted EF about becoming an EF Group Leader may automatically be entered into the contest.
Employees (and their immediate families and household members) of EF and its affiliates are not eligible.
GRAND PRIZE DRAW:
EF EDUCATIONAL TOURS, its affiliates agents and others working for them or on their behalf, will have the right to photograph the winners and entry constitutes permission to use their names, pictures, likenesses, school's name and city and state of residence(s) in advertising for no additional compensation.
One entry per person.
Starting dates and ending dates for receiving entries are August 1, 2009, and December 31, 2009, respectively.
The prize will include a trip for one group leader (at least 21 years of age) and up to six students (between the ages of 12-23 years old). The prize is one of five EF Educational Tour programs with a total estimated value of $12,000 for each prize. The number of students will depend on the tour selected and the departure city.
Tour and travel dates are subject to availability. All travel must be completed by September 30, 2010.
NOTIFYING THE POTENTIAL WINNER:
The winners will be selected in a random drawing. Participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, whose decisions on all aspects of this drawing are final. The winners will be notified by the 15th of each month September 2009 through January 2010. The winner does not need to be present to win. EF Educational Tours will notify the winner by phone, email or standard mail.
The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
DECLARING THE WINNER:
Prize must be claimed by the 30th of each month September 2009 through January 2010. Failure to execute and return any requested document(s) within 14 days of receipt, or return of notification or prize as undeliverable may result in forfeiture of prize and an alternate potential winner being selected at the sole discretion of EF Educational Tours management. Winners and all travelers must execute EF's Release and Agreement, Booking Conditions, etc.
EF Educational Tours makes no warranties with respect to the prize.
The sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. All taxes on prizes are solely the responsibility of the winners.
To learn the name of the winner, go to www.eftours.com after the 15th of each month September 2009 through January 2010.
EF Educational Tours is not responsible for any lost or misdirected entries.
