The overall experience from the flights, to the hotels, to the tours, and especially the Tour Guide was simply 'brilliant' EF has thought out, planned for, and executed every detail from initial invitation, sign up, tour, and delivery 'safely' back home. We were so impressed with this first long distance 'solo excursion' for our high school daughter ~ she took over 2000 pictures and was smiling in every shot! It was an amazing experience that she will be hard pressed to surpass in the future. The tour guide assigned her group was extremely well-trained, caring, and watchful of this student group. Good show ~ EF ~ she is already planning a UK tour in her 1st year of college with your group. "Hats off to EF" for you even soothed the nerves and concerns of a very overprotective Daddy by including family at home with blogs, photos, and details of the trip from start to finish.
This trip was fantastic. The tour itinerary was packed full of fun and informative activities. The "outdoor learning" that took place was loads of fun for the kids. A Costa Rica tour contains much less of the history, art and architecture than what you would experience on a typical tour of, say, Spain. But it makes up for it with sheer fun, great food, friendly locals, and a unique semi-immersive cultural experience. Our tour director was outstanding. Would love to identify him by name because he was THAT good. Highly recommended tour, all in all. Great value, hotels were superior, weather was marvelous, and the natural wonders breathtaking. My students loved Costa Rica so much that I decided to run another Costa Rica tour the following year, and again next year. Beautiful country, and EF Tours did a top-notch job of introducing my students to the many facets of Costa Rica.
The experience was fantastic, the country beautiful and I would do it again. It was a hectic schedule, but this was the only was to see and experience all the sights we wanted. One drawback was the large group of students that were joined with our group. Smaller group size is better, otherwise it takes longer to see the sites. Traveling together for so many days has a tendency for small issues to develop. Overall, it was great!! Planning a second trip.
This tour was an amazing experience for me! I learned so much and it was an awesome time and had encouraged me to travel abroad more!!
My students and I relish in all the memories made on the Costa Rica tour. As it was our first time there, we all had no idea of what to expect. Our Tour Director was amazing at working in all of the promised activities around the unpredictable weather. My students felt like they were constantly on the go, which they loved, and were happy there was no wasted down time. The food was AMAZING and they even catered to a student with PKU and his difficult eating regimen. The only downside was that my students were unable to see the Manuel Antonio Park (it was closed on Tuesdays - exactly when we were scheduled to go), and they were really looking forward to it. I can't wait to go again.
Our tour director was wonderful!!! We had so much fun! Go, go, go!
This was such an amazing experience for my first trip tp Europe! Can't wait until next year!!
