The following associations and organizations are aligned with EF in mission and practice.
- American Federation of Teachers: AFT is an organization that represents teachers and school-related personnel; local, state and federal employees; higher education faculty and staff; and nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- College Board AP: The College Board is a not-for-profit membership association whose mission is to connect students to resources and opportunities that nurture college success.
- Girl Scouts: Girl Scouts of the USA is the world’s preeminent organization created just for girls. In an accepting and nurturing environment, Girl Scouts can build character and skills for success in the real world.
- The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA): The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA) is dedicated to advancing the quality of education through accreditation. EF programs are all accredited through CITA.
- Model UN: The United Nations Association of the United States of America are dedicated to educating, inspiring and mobilizing Americans to support the principles and vital work of the United Nations. EF has tours designed specifically to meet the needs of Model UN programs.
- Visiting International Faculty Program: The Visiting International Faculty Program, the United States’ largest cultural exchange program for teachers and schools, is dedicated to transforming lives through international exchange.
- Primary Source: Primary Source promotes education in history and the humanities by connecting educators to people and cultures throughout the world.
- Partnership for 21st Century Skills: Serves as a catalyst to position 21st century skills at the center of U.S. K-12 education by building collaborative partnerships among education, business, community, and government leaders. EF is a board member promoting global awareness for P21.
- PBS Teachers: Provides multimedia resources and professional development designed for America's preK-12 educators.
- Channel One: Channel One’s mission is to spark debate and discussion among teens, and between young people and their parents and educators, on the important issues affecting young people in America.
- Eastern Washington University: EWU offers an undergraduate credit course that can complement any of our EF tours.
- International Student Exchange Committee (CSIET): The Indiana Department of Education collaborates with the U.S. Department of State and the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel, as well as with international, national and local officials and partners, who support international exchange.
- International Baccalaureate (IB): The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers high quality international education programs to a worldwide community of schools.
- Apple Education: Apple makes it easy to create digital content that connects and inspires students in and out of the classroom.
- American Association of School Administrators (AASA): The mission of the American Association of School Administrators is to support and develop effective school system leaders who are dedicated to the highest quality public education for all children.
- Asia Society | International Studies Schools Network: Asia Society’s Education Programs promote teaching and learning about world regions, cultures, and languages in K-12 schools.
- Center for International Understanding: The Center is committed to helping North Carolinians live and work effectively with people of all cultures.
- The China Exchange Initiative (CEI): The purpose of the China Exchange Initiative is to build and support educational exchange programs, as well as administrator-shadowing projects, between schools in the United States and schools in China at the pre-college level.
- International Studies Schools Association at the University of Denver: The International Studies Schools Association (ISSA) is a national network of K-12 schools dedicated to improving students’ understanding of the world.
- Lonely Planet: Lonely Planet is renowned for its first-hand approach, up-to-date maps, and commitment to providing the best information for travelers.
- NAFSA: Association of International Educators: Association of International Educators is a member organization promoting international education and providing professional development opportunities to those in the field.
- Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education: Kappa Delta Pi is a membership association whose mission is to sustain an honored community of diverse educators throughout the world by promoting excellence and advancing scholarship, leadership and service.
- Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development: ASCD is a membership organization that develops programs, products, and services essential to the way educators learn, teach, and lead.

- National Geographic's My Wonderful World: Creative Visions has helped to develop educational curricula for Mexico, the Philippines and South Africa to accompany the GlobalTribe series.
- Asia Society - AskAsia: AskAsia is a site of resources devoted to teachers and students that features lesson plans, current events and media about Asia for educators and students.
- Rock Our World: Rock Our World is a media collaboration where students from all seven continents come together to compose music, make movies and hold video conferences to learn more about one another.
- PBS Global Tribe: GlobalTribe is a new PBS series that combines the spirit of travel with a meaningful exploration of the global issues that affect us all.
- PBS and Peace Corps Global Café: This collaboration site between Peace Corps and PBS provides resources, lesson plans, letters and photographs from students around the world, and a forum for students across the globe to engage in discussion.
- Peace Corps World Wise Schools: World Wise Schools provides classroom resources and lesson plans based upon the overseas experiences of Peace Corps Volunteers around the world.
- EF and Apple Rethink. Global Awareness.: With EF, the Apple Learning Interchange hosts a collection of lesson ideas, activities, galleries and conversations about Global Awareness.
- Heifer International: Heifer's education programs give teachers the resources to help students develop a passion for helping others by passing on the gift of knowledge about solutions to hunger and poverty.
- GlobalEd: Provides solutions to thousands of teachers in how to design their own curricula as well as how to effectively employ different teaching strategies in the classroom.
- iEarn: iEarn is nonprofit global network made up of teachers and students from across the globe that engage in discussions with one another and work together on projects that fit their curriculum.
- Global Education Collaborative: GEC is a site that links educators and students to global projects happening across the world.
- International Studies in Schools: An innovative distance learning program that uses interactive video technology to connect schools and community groups with over 5,000 international students, scholars and specialists at the Indiana University campus.
- ePALS Classroom Exchange: Connecting students around the world with school-safe email, ePALS is the largest global education community of collaborative classrooms engaged in cross-cultural exchanges and project sharing.
- Exploring Humanitarian Law: EHL is dedicated to helping teachers introduce the basic principles of international humanitarian law to students in secondary schools.
