When May’s featured group leader, Charlie Schmidt, found he needed to present his music department chairperson with a proposal, he decided to try something new. He developed his curriculum around travel and his favorite composer, Richard Wagner. With the help of EF’s customized tours department, Charlie began designing his ideal tour–one that allowed his students to experience the music they learned about in his college classes. On his next tour, Charlie will travel to Austria, a place that offers music lovers a wealth of exciting sights and sounds. Read about Charlie’s experiences designing his own customized tour, find great resources targeted toward music teachers and learn how EF’s own Austria native, Brigitte Tersek, decides which new tours EF will offer each season.
