EF Global Citizen Awards
The EF Global Citizen Awards program has two goals: to challenge students to consider their roles in the world through writing, and to allow them to put their words into practice.
Twelve winning essays are chosen, and the winners - ten from the United States and two from Canada - travel together on a 10-day expenses-paid educational tour of Europe.
For the winning students, the educational tour will not simply be a reward for a job well done-it will be a tool the students can use as they continue to lead by example as global citizens.
The application materials for our 2008 Global Citizen Awards are now available.
Download the eligibility requirements and nomination form.
For 2008, we are asking students to reflect upon and respond to the following:
"Describe how a shared experience with someone from another cultural background influenced both of you as global citizens."
Congratulations to our 2007 Global Citizens winners!
