Accreditation

EF is the only educational travel company to be accredited by CITA (Commission on International and trans-Regional Accreditation). This means that all of EF’s international and domestic tours have been recognized for their quality and educational value, meeting the same rigorous standards as the best schools across the U.S. EF's course requirements include 60 hours of preparation, as well as on-tour work and post-tour reflective analysis. Adult supplement

EF’s published Program Fees are based on student rates for transportation, admissions, accommodations, etc. EF welcomes adults (those older than or who turn 23 years old while on tour), but must charge a per-person flat fee of $65, plus $30 per day of the tour, to cover the difference between student and adult rates for accommodations and admissions.

Airport code

This refers to the three letter code of an airport. For example, Los Angeles International Airport is also known as LAX, Atlanta International Airport is known as ATL.

AP Tours

Working with the Advanced Placement Program of the College Board, EF has created several tours to supplement a curriculum of AP English Literature, U.S. History, European History, Biology and Spanish Language. Note: Travelers on an EF AP tour do not earn AP credits. Students interested in earning such credits must take the AP exam(s).

Airport transfer

EF groups are provided with motor coach transportation to their first EF hotel, and transported to their departing airport from their last EF hotel.
