  • Day 1: Fly to Costa Rica

    Meet your Tour Director at the airport
  • Day 2: San José • Monteverde

    Visit Café Britt Coffee plantation and roastery

    Travel via Sarchi to Monteverde

  • Day 3: Monteverde

    Participate in a canopy adventure

    Please note: Travelers must weigh below 200 lbs to participate in this activity.

    Local Farm Visit

    Local Farm Visit

    Visit a local farm and learn all about the plants, fruits, and vegetables that grow there. As you learn about why they thrive in this particular climate, you’ll also be able to try some of the produce—including foods you may never have heard of! Before you leave, try your hand at a staple farm activity like milking a cow or grinding sugarcane. 

  • Day 4: Monteverde • Arenal region

    Participate in a local exchange 

    Visit the Santa Elena Cloud Forest

    Plant a tree in the EF reserve

    Travel to the Arenal region
  • Day 5: Arenal region • Sarapiquí

    Enjoy a hike in Arenal Volcano National Park

    Travel to Sarapiquí
  • Day 6: Sarapiquí

    Visit Earth University where you will:

    • Learn about production systems
    • Visit a banana plantation
  • Day 7: Sarapiquí • San José

    Tavel via Braulio Carrillo National Park to San José 

    Ride the aerial tram at Braulio Carillo National Park

    Explore on your own or
    Add this in-depth excursion
    Folklore evening

    Folklore evening

    Opt to spend the evening learning about the rich cultural traditions of the region over a traditional Costa Rican dinner. After dinner, marimba music and entertainment by a local dance troupe will make this a night to remember.

  • Day 8: Depart for home
